Rustom calls up his friend Preeti (Esha Gupta) to enquire about Cynthia but she says she's not aware of her whereabouts. Their maid informs him that she's not been home for two days. He yearns to see his wife wife Cynthia (Ileana) but is surprised to not have her at home. What is the ultimate verdict of the court? Does Rustom Pavri get convicted for the murder of Vikram? Will Rustom Pavri be able to prove his innocence in the case is what forms the rest of the film.Rustom Pavri (Akshay Kumar), an honourable officer of the Indian Navy returns home from the sea before schedule. What happens after that, are a series of courtroom drama between Rustom Pavri versus Vikram's sister Preeti (Esha Gupta) and her extremely capable lawyer Laxman Khamgani (Sachin Khedekar). Rustom Pavri, then, surrenders himself before the law. His anger towards the entire situation triggers him to kill Vikram by shooting him on the spot.
